Technical Manager and Technician –
Birds of Paradise Theatre Company (BOP) are looking to appoint a Technical Manager and Technician for their Edinburgh International Festival 2019 production of Purposeless Movements.
Purposeless Movements will be performed at The Studio in Edinburgh between 19th – 24th August and is part of the British Council Edinburgh Showcase 2019.
The Technical Manager will take responsibility for all Technical aspects relating to the production. The Technician will support the production team and undertake some basic stage management duties. Both roles will work closely with the Production team, Directors & Artists to deliver the highest possible production values throughout the project.
You will have a strong knowledge of all aspects of production and technical work, in particular, lighting, sound and AV. You must work well as part of a team, have good communication skills and a clean driving licence would be an advantage.
Technical Manager –
4-week contract between 29th July – 25th August with some preparatory work required.
£600 per week
3-week contract between 5th August – 25th August.
£500 per week.
Locations – Between Glasgow, Greenock, Edinburgh.
