Katy Lonsdale
Katy graduated Performance Costume at Edinburgh College Of Art in 2003 and was a successful candidate for the BBC visions award securing a traineeship with the BBC’s costume designer, Frances Tempest. She then went on to design and produce costumes and puppets for Blue boat Theatre and was costume designer and maker for the Yorkshire based Mikron Theatre company for several years. She has worked for National Theatre of Scotland on numerous productions, inter dispersed with smaller scale commissions for dance, short films and physical theatre. Her recent work includes principal model maker and model painter on the award winning Vox Motus production, Flight and costume designer for the Outland/Hidden Tiger Productions short, The Innescapable Arrival Of Lazlo Petushki, which was a Scottish Bafta award winner.
