Simon is a freelance Lighting Designer based in Edinburgh working in both theatre and site specific events.

Simon has worked with a variety of companies including The National Theatre of Scotland, Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Tron Theatre, The Citizens Theatre, Freckle Productions, Traverse Theatre, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Edinburgh International Festival, Jordan and Skinner, Stella Quines and Glass Performance.

Simon also designs large scale site responsive lighting design, immersive light art and show pieces across the UK specialising in blurring the lines between different creative practices. Previous projects include the Royal Botanical Gardens Kew, Blenheim Palace, RHS Wisley and for the Edinburgh International Festival. 

Simon enjoys collaborating to produce thought provoking, stimulating and evocative designs (as well as the occasional bit of joy and silliness…)
