Robin Paley Yorke

Cue Backstage Project Coordinator

Robin is an award winning Theatre Maker from North East England and now proudly calls Glasgow his home.

As a visually impaired artist, he has directed and facilitated workshops on behalf of d/Deaf & Disabled artist-led theatre companies; Graeae, Extant, The Orpheus Centre and Invisible Flash. He was an Associate Artist of Invisible Flash Theatre creating work by and for Blind & Visually Impaired artists. He also wrote an article for industry newspaper, The Stage with advice for visually impaired performers. He is a visiting lecturer at Rose Bruford College, and has guest lectured at The Northern School of Art and King’s College London.

As a Producer or Project Manager, he has managed productions that have been performed across the UK and internationally, been featured on BBC World Service and won Summerhall’s LUSTRUM 2018 Award. Over the last 10 years, he has employed and commissioned over 100+ artists in my work with the likes of Pulse 53, Seemia Theatre, Theatre Deli, Green Shoes Arts and Disconsortia. He has recently been awarded an Unlimited Micro Grant.
