Anne Kjær (she/they) is an autistic, queer, interdisciplinary artist working across dance, performance, sound, film, and installation. Her practice is informed by her lived experience of neurodivergence and explores themes of disability, identity, sexuality and care. Grounded in somatic and improvisational practices, Anne creates multi-sensorial – and often collaborative – performances that weave together movement, voice, sound, and visuals to evoke intimate and reflective experiences. Anne is passionate about creative processes led by an ethics of care and radical honesty and in building inclusive spaces that honour diverse body-minds. Originally from Copenhagen, Anne is now based in Glasgow where she continues to develop her practice within contemporary performance and interdisciplinary art contexts. Anne has been involved with the development of (We indulge in) a bit of roll play since 2021.
