Scott Gilmour and Claire McKenzie are an award-winning musical theatre writing partnership otherwise known as Noisemaker.

Both graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the pair work throughout the UK and internationally creating innovative, original work to challenge the expectations of musical theatre. Scott and Claire have worked with a wide variety of companies including The National Theatre of Scotland, The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, Sheffield Crucible, Dundee Rep, Citizens Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, Channel 4 Films and The BBC.

Upcoming Projects include: HI, MY NAME IS BEN is international co production currently in development between Noisemaker, Dundee Rep and the prestigious Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut. Based on an incredible true story, HI, MY NAME IS BEN has a concert performance at Dundee Rep in later this year before opening at Goodspeed in Spring 2019. The pair are also working with acclaimed Scottish band Belle & Sebastian to develop their album, GOD HELP THE GIRL, into a live stage show. Scott and Claire were also recently selected as the New Voices 2017 – an award for emerging writers from across the globe chosen by New Musicals Inc. and Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment.
