Gabby Sloss

Digital Communications Officer

< Back to Staff

Gabby has over ten years’ experience in marketing and communications, working across branding, strategy, PR and digital content creation for a wide range of organisations. She has developed and delivered campaigns, built strong brand identities, and produced engaging content tailored to a wide variety of different audiences. She also works as Digital Marketing Officer for Bike For Good, and Communications & PR Coordinator for Beltane Fire Society.

She started out in roles with organisations including IVCC (a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation subsidiary group), Making Music, Change Grow Live, and The Guardian. Since then, she has worked freelance, supporting arts and third-sector organisations with their marketing and communications. Gabby takes a creative, collaborative approach, seeing marketing not just as promotion, but as an extended dramaturgy which strengthens and extends an organisation’s overall story.

Outside of marketing & communication, Gabby works as a playwright and dramaturg, whose work sits on a landscape of sex, sexuality, intimacy and feminism. She holds an MLitt in Playwriting & Dramaturgy, and is currently on the PillowTalk Scotland Bold Type Journalism Fellowship.

The image presents a medium shot of a woman with reddish-brown hair and fair skin, smiling at the camera. Her hair is styled with bangs and falls down her shoulders. She has light blue eyes and a wide, genuine smile that reveals her teeth. She is wearing a dark green shirt with a subtle pattern and a small, decorative necklace. The necklace appears to have dark green beads and a bronze-colored pendant. The backdrop is a muted, olive-green color, providing a simple and consistent background. The lighting seems to be soft and diffused, highlighting her features without harsh shadows. The woman's expression conveys a sense of warmth and approachability. The overall composition is well-balanced, drawing the viewer's focus to the woman's face and expression.
