Yvonne Strain (BSL Performance Interpreter) is a Glasgow based practitioner known for working creatively with BSL in performance. Over the past 30 years exciting collaborations include National Theatre of Scotland, Caroline Bowditch and Take Me Somewhere.  Yvonne loves working with Deaf Youth Theatre, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Deaf Artists to elevate BSL within the Arts. She challenges the wider industry to raise the bar with BSL integration and delivers workshops to upskill performance interpretation. Yvonne is currently training for the West Highland Way with her family and is a dedicated dog mum to 2 terriers (one of them Deaf, of course!).
