Michelle Rolfe

Producer

Michelle combines her work as Producer for Birds of Paradise Theatre Company with her own independent projects in theatre and TV. She mainly works as a Producer and Access Coordinator or Consultant. Her career is focused on improving access for arts professionals and audiences alike. She has a particular passion for making backstage more accessible for disabled workers. 

As Producer at BOP she ensures the smooth running of day to day activities and communications for productions. Her role also covers ensuring company access requirements are met. Michelle enjoys supporting BOPs project work and delivering Disability Equality and Creative Access training within the UK & internationally.

Her passion for access extends to her home life where she lives with her husband and their two blind cats.

BOP at the Glasgow Create Job Fair!

In late September, we had the joy of taking part in Glasgow City Council’s Create Job Fair – and what a day it was! Over 200 students came through the doors, all buzzing with curiosity about careers in the arts and creative industries.
